100KM Rolling Test

We conducted a durability test by loading the suitcase with 25kg of weight and running it at a 45° tilt (2-wheel mode) or on 4 wheels. The test was carried out on a custom treadmill with steps and bumps to simulate uneven terrain, at a speed of 4 km/h.

The suitcase successfully passed the industry's highest standard—100 kilometers of continuous rolling.

After the test, the wheels rotated smoothly with no jamming or resistance. There was no deformation, and both the wheel frames and shafts remained intact, showing no signs of cracking or structural failure.

Wheel Abrasion Test

In parallel with the rolling test, we conducted a dedicated abrasion test on the wheels.
Thanks to the use of HINOMOTO Lisof® Silent Run casters, we confirmed outstanding durability and wear resistance.

After completing the 100km rolling distance test, wheel abrasion was measured to be less than 2mm, demonstrating the exceptional longevity of the components under extended use.

Step Endurance Test

To simulate the challenges of real-world travel, we conducted a rigorous step endurance test under the same conditions as our standard rolling durability trials. A load of 25 kg was placed in the suitcase and pulled at a 45° angle.

The suitcase was tested on a track featuring 15 cm-high steps at a pace of 2 km/h to replicate repeated impacts, such as navigating stairs or uneven terrain. To assess resistance to shock and structural fatigue, we rolled the suitcase over this elevated surface for 750 cycles.

Telescopic Handle Durability Tests

① Vibration Resistance Test
To simulate the mechanical stress experienced during travel, a 24-inch suitcase loaded with 20 kg was suspended by its telescopic handle and subjected to a vibration durability test.
The test was conducted at a frequency of 20 cycles per minute for over 500 cycles, verifying structural stability under prolonged strain.

② Telescopic Extension Fatigue Test
To assess long-term usability, the telescopic handle underwent a telescoping endurance test simulating repetitive use.
We conducted over 10,000 extension and retraction cycles — twice the industry standard — to ensure smooth performance and mechanical integrity over years of use.
